I think this version of the ArchDuke is not the best one I've heard! (IMHO)
The phrasing just isn't there, the hesitations and drawn out AHHH of some of the notes just not there--sounds too mechanical and NOT like something by someone as passionate as Beethoven!

I remember this concert. I remember it so, so well. . . because I thought at the time that I would never hear Beethoven the same way again. Thank you for posting it.
