Amusing historical fiction.

The chemical weapons used by Saddam in the Iran Iraq war were supplied by guess who......USA USA USA.

Dictatorship? Saddam was a puppet of US until he either misunderstood or disobeyed US orders. Sanctions placed on Iraq after 1990 were far more damaging than Saddam himself. Also, Iraq has been destroyed even further since the invasion began simply for the benefit of the financial elite getting even richer.

Mr. Bolton easily fended off all of Paxman's little grenades. Two years later the folly of Paxman's position is even clearer as Iraq is neither a failed state nor the dictatorship under which Paxman apparently would prefer to live.
