Went to sleep in Abilene for a little while. Woke up to a snow capped mirror. Checked the weather and they were talking about a snow storm coming to town. I figured I had better hurry up and get to trucking.

It was a long slow ride to Weatherford, TX
but I guess sometimes that's just life as a trucker.

  • Got stuck in this same storm trying to get to Lubbock from near Tyler, TX. They finally shut I-20 down in Cisco around midnight. I hit snow in Weatherford around 1PM. Freak storm. That Flying J in Tye was PACKED when I finally made it by there at 9AM on Christmas. Hope you made it home for Christmas!

  • Did you have a trailer?

  • Man that must wear you out mentally and physically driving in a snow storm like that. Sounds like you turned your hazards on towards the end of the vid?

  • man i im so glad i aint gotta go through snow no more.......cali deticated yessir! lol LA TO THE BAY AREA

  • We had very strong winds and some snow in Nebraska

  • @Newfieguy89 Ya i know like wtf? Truckers need the CB.

  • I hit the brunt of it just west of York Nebraska.

It got sooooooooooo bad, that they shut off the freeway. I saw at least 30 ditched trucks and cars.

I saw a truck just tag a pickup behind me then jacknife into the snow drift. It was crazy. There were only a few of us that were heading west that actually made it to exit 312.
