still you cant deny the coolness factor if he really made it himself. it functions well for what it is.

No pressure is built up in the jacket of any water cooled MG. Steam tube has venting holes at front and back end, with sliding cover that closes either end if muzzle is raised or depressed, thus keeping the water in the jacket.
There are no Pre-May sample 1910 Maxim in the US registry.

Or you can get a class 3 license to get a FA weapon. But depends. You cant get .223 FA weapons at all. Even the HK .223 416. They have others I suppose.

well done Dennis

Can't make a FA one after May 1986, not for civilian sale. SA is the closest we can have unless we buy a pre-86 one for $20k or so.

nice
Yes fully functional, the barrel is rather thin in the middle so yes it is needed. Add half a gallon of water and after 150 rounds of rapid fire it will start to puff steam, keep going and it will really start to chug. As each round is fired it activates the brass pump rod that opens it to the outside world, lowering the jacket pressure and hence your puff of steam. Add more water and it will take longer to reach temp but I enjoy the steam and it's a real crowd pleaser.
