By far the best episode of Smallville, maybe even of any TV Show, that I've ever seen.

@Nypopsicle18 What made this scene amazing was that Lionel always portrayed himself as a strong, powerful figure, who took pity on no one who showed weakness. However, this is one of the rare scene's in the show where we see Lionel talk to Lex as a father.

People say that this was the greatest episode from the whole of smallville. I tip my hat off to that one. It was truley touching and you can literally feel lex's pain throughout the episode. That little piece of music stood out for me. I've remembered that episode since when it was first aired. Truely an amazing episode. Credit goes to the actors. Especially the child lex luthor, he was truley flawless and so believable. This episode was what really got me into smallville.

This has always been my favourite episode. It never fails to move me. The acting, the writing, the music, the use of colour and light, is all so beautiful.
