Joni Mitchell interview part 2

Thank the Universe for the brilliance of a woman of eternity to speak of Universal Power and love, rather than individual instant self gratification, but of pure love reaching and joining all, is the mark of one who receives "messages" in an instant, is a wonderful thing which deserves to be put in line with those of the Dali Lama, Sung Yin Sue Chi, defending an entire country and culture, spreading hope for the future is the mark of a "Spiritual Warrior" and a woman to be honored.

It was done in the spring of 1988.

At 1:32, right on, Joni. I hope to we never have to endure fucking Madonna or whom ever singing "Imagine" again at one of these benefits ever again. Like the Katrina one.

This woman is always so interesting to hear speak or sing. She's the real and smart meaning of the word "cool" before that word was abused to death.

When I wrote her she was surprised that the interview had even been preserved, let alone posted on youtube.

I agree... the questions were really perfect for someone of Joni's ilk. Far more thoughtful and thought-provoking and really required a lot of introspection on Joni's part to answer. And I love the fact that Joni is a strong enough character to answer a question so candidly even if it shed light on flaws or insecurities.
