  • "people are taught in these cultures how to be sexy.....there's a lot of emphasis on how to be sexy, and very little on to be loving..." ain't it the truth??

  • This woman is always so interesting to hear speak or sing. She's the real and smart meaning of the word "cool" before that word was abused to death.

  • I loved this and her. Peace and Love.

  • I agree with the other posters -- the interviewer Hege Duckert did a fine job -- meaty, intelligent questions that Joni sounded like she enjoyed answering. AND the interviewer allowed Joni to answer with no interupting. It was informative and worth listening to more than once. Joni is a charming interview. She's also informative, smart and interesting. This was a great pairing. Other interviewers can learn from both Part 1 and 2.

  • She's the most creative musical artist alive today.

  • to be vulnerable in the 80's is death itself, isn't it?hahhahaha i love it!:)

  • Just a lunch and I'll be happy Joni.

  • Joni mitchell,james taylor,steve gadd,george carlin,jacque fresco,peter joseph,meryl streep,anthony hopkins ,al pacino ,marlon Brando,Richard Harris,Michael jackson,Ray charles,Bonnie raitt,Stevie wonder,Jaco pastorious,The sopranos,

These are the people that make life worth living.

  • A fantastic interview! What a pity the songs are missing!

  • This was the best interview I've even seen of Joni. I finally understand why she doesn't produce the beautiful folk poetry her fame had been based on. Her depictions of the music industry, its connection to the business end, and how musical acceptance is so dependent on cultural moment was amazingly cogent, revealing and lucid. Thanks for posting this. It was incredible!

  • If Joni had a small horse named Tony, and she married Jimi Hendix's old drummer, let's just assume he's alive, and she carried on the horse a sack to hold her guitar, she would be Joni Mitchell Mitchell with satchel on a pony named Tony. It makes one ponder.........
