The CD-I died out in the U.S. Market in 1995 but lasted until 1998 in Europe. It was in 1998 that the product line was dropped altogether.

i remember having one of these alongside my supernes thankgod, it was so useless, the only thing idid on it was watch streefighter manga film and the krays, the 7guest i was convinced was the graphics of the machine at the time, just to make myself feel better and some good games would come out lol

The CD-I seemed okay... I think it was overpriced because they had a feeling that parents would think it's way better than sega because it had a ton of educational games. :\

@Protoman85 Tetris is terrible on the CD-I! Mutant Rampage is a bad fighting game, CD-I is the most miserable excuse for a video game console.
