Two Heterosexual men obtain three marriage licenses in Auburn, Worcester and Southborough, MA. They tell the county clerks they're marrying for benefits sake, they have girlfriends, and they will soon get divorced.

I think this does prove how silly it is that government defines marriage. Government should completely get its nose out of the marriage business.

Uhh ok.

This seems kinda dumb.

First, are the makers trying to say that gay married couples dont' really love each other?

Second, there is no law that prohibits people from marrying for stupid reasons.

Otherwise Las Vegas would be putting thousands in jail every year.

The only law that might apply is bigamy and the clerk already mentioned that the men would have to divorce before re-marrying some one else.

government shouldn't even have anything to do with marriage, it should be privatized and let the people define their own terms.

I think it's unacceptable that the marriage clerk didn't demand to see proof of love between those two men. Such otherwise private matters should be the business of my mommy government (I'm a social conservative, which means I'm for limited government, except when it comes to pretty much anything). Mama state should know precisely why I want to marry someone, what genitalia my marriage partner will have, and what I will do with my spouse in bed once we are married. That's not communist, is it?
