Unless you've seen him in the Broadway cast, you can't judge him. For this musical in particular,I'll always prefer the OBC for a number of reasons. realize that Ferguson created the role of Leaf Coneybear. All those little jokes with the finger puppets, etc., were made FOR him and a lot of them were made BY him. I first saw the OBC in New York. When I saw the Chicago cast, I was let down to see they used basically the same jokes from the original cast. Nothing new, just rehash of the original.

but barrett foa is really good too. I saw Jesse Ferguson on broadway, and he was amazing. haven't seen barrett foa...
this is just a bad recording of him at a bad time. his broadway performance was much better. :)

i personally think that barrett foa and stanley bahorek are better for the role, but thats just me.
search for barrett foa, and click the first video...its the same song except with barrett foa obviously. he's such a cutie :D
