I'd like to ask Al Gore what the proper temperature of the Earth is, and then prove that CO2 is responsible for any rise. His answer would be somewhere around duh....
Then there is the simple fact that the Earth's atmosphere OUGHT to have at least 5x the present CO2 concentration. CO2 levels were that high or higher during the Dinosaur Age. Even at 2x present levels, plant growth will double. That means greater agricultural production, more plant growth in desert areas (they can close their pores, save water & still have enough CO2). We are presently at a 600 million year low, for both CO2 & Temperature. An increase in both should be expected, not feared.
Great line there. What's also worth mentioning is that solar and wind work only a fraction of their maximum nominal capacity and cannot be controled like real energy sources. That means to make this work you have to install a multiplicity of the nominal capacity (nice for an "independence" strategy with all the rare earths materials in them) and you have to build massive energy storage systems and infrastructure. The post office might want to issue a special, really expensive post stamp edition.
