its funny that this part of the dlc haves all the the neccesities or the 1st resident evil, moonlight sonata piano song, the crank, the jill sandwich scene, etc.

Well, capcom is clearly capable of scary. I think it's just that more people prefer action games over slow paced. They didn't change, they adapted.
