British Airways Willie Walsh and Ryanair's Michael O'Leary attack the air passenger duty (APD) taxes that Labour government brought in, and the coalition are carrying on with.

@UkTruthSeeker2009 they were not interviewing anyone who supported the tax so it makes sense for them to challenge the stance of the two interviewees to create a balanced debate. Others might suggest it was anti-authorities just to have two interviewees both against the tax and nobody for it.

It raises fares, affects airlines which have to close routes and services, and affects the tourism industry (shops/tours/museums/hotels/re­staurants) all affected.

Ireland has seen a steady decline of passengers over the months thanks to their stupid tax and the fares there have made ireland an unappealing choice as a holiday/city break.

Unsurprisinglythe most wealthiest of people who arrive by private jet are excempt from paying their inconceivable ABP, so so very wrong.
