I saw a clip of this video somewhere, and I could barely make out Stephen's face in the back, and I immediately though "oh my god (lol) is that Stephen Frye and Christopher Hitchens in the same room? I HAVE to see that!".

@Jeditopteam I don't think the world could have found two other individuals who could have replaced Fry & Hitch in their compelling arguments. Maybe Sam Harris could have replaced Fry, but certainly not the great Hitch.

@ScientificThought As long as there are people who are afraid of the truth and ignore self-responsibility, there will always be people who dislike Hitch and their ilk. The day that humanity throws off the shackles of this medieval, illeterate and malignant beleif called religion, this will be the day where they will praise Hitch for what he had accomplished.

Whenever I see a debate of this nature (and this one with Fry and Hitchens in particular), I'm always reminded of the old quip, paraphrased: They're entering into a battle of wits with an unarmed man and woman.
Poor Ann Widdecombe, it's no wonder we rarely see her on TV any more ^^
