Des's Garden update 17 2011

I'm happy with the progress I'm getting from the gourds. Not as prolific as some I've seen but this is the best I have ever done. I'm looking forward to the new season and fixing the mistakes I made this year. This is also my first harvest. I forgot to show it in the video but the little gourd in the intro pic is also part of my harvest. It's one of those cute mini Chinese Bottle Gourds. Almost forgot to show the harvest but didn't feel like editing out the narration error.

And yes I'm disapointed by the Brandywine tomatoes. I finally get some to ripen after all the years of failure. I was expecting a steaky savory taste but to me it tasted ordinary. After everything I'd read it was a let down.
