  • Thank you so very much for this beautiful video. My grandfather George Larsen, built the Crouching Lion Inn as a home in the 1920's. Would it be possible to get a copy of this video?......Joan

  • I used to work at the crouchting Lion inn, years ago My grandmother managed it. the staff at the Crouching Lion inn are so " ALOHA" fatty!!, Sonya!!.. and all the rest of the OLD timers Aloha and Mahalo nui loa makou... a hui hou .

  • It's Haunted

  • My husband and I ate there two weeks ago. Their shrimp and fish stew is the bomb;

    the shrimp (so sweet and juicy) and the fish (cooked perfect) blended well with its sauce. The crab cake is good too. Oh, and the mile high coconut crème pie is very very good .its to die for! We'll definitely go back there when we visit Hawaii again. Mahalo.

  • Cool!! I love all the Hawaiian legends like Lono and A'pua'a!!! So cool to hear the stories!

    Mahaloz!

  • ancient hawaiians was known to as a large headed dog for they never seen a lion before.. it was later on called the crouching lion..

  • So beautiful!!! Hawaii!!! One thing puzzles me though. How did the ancient hawaiians know what a lion was?

  • I grew up on that side of the island and I've never eaten there. Weird. Do you know the status of the renovation?
