The Communist government ever since its development in the 70's has lifted an estimated 200 million people out of absolute poverty in 30yrs thats almost the entire population of USA, no other country on earth has lifted so many people out of the poor in such a short time frame. People seem to forget what the Chinese gov are doing these days good news never sale.

The party has lifted more than 500 million people out of poverty (in wich no country succeeded in) and now there are just 1.7% of the Chinese people that are living in poverty, poverty will be probably gone soon in China.
The real thing that's stopping China from being great is corrupted officials.

I agree with you i lived there for 6 month and didn't like it that much you get to know them better and realize how many things they could improve...
