  • Dear People on youtube,

The videos that I have posted were clips from a class that I used to teach called "Triathlon Swimming 101". The participants in this class did not know how to swim when they started. Hence, they were BRAND NEW SWIMMERS. The video was shot after just 2 hours of learning how to swim.

Each person in my video series from this class, does indeed have SERIOUS flaws in their strokes as of course one would after just barely learning a new skill. BE KIND TO EACH OTHER

  • Just saw the end now and saw she wrote some of the things i mentioned but why then tell him that he's doing awesome? If you chat less with other people while coaching you will see it at the coaching session and be able to help the swimmer on the spot

  • @oweneoin I agree. He also moves his hips too much, his legs are too deep in the water and he drops his elbows when he pulls as well as above water his arms are coming through too straight and he is coming up too far with his head when he breathes and if he starts breathing both sides he'll swim straighter. This is just an opinion of a guy who trains with one of the top 5 olympic triathletes from my country but she thinks this guy is doing "awesome". Hahaha

  • might be completely wrong but seemed like such a crap lesson, he continually crossed his hands til the very end but is told he's way better :O just an opinion
