Occupy Las Vegas...A Twenty Minute Experience....Except It's Not 20 Minutes

I was attending an Occupy Las Vegas event at the Fremont Street Experience on 10.15.11. About halfway through it , I decided to take video instead of pictures and this is exactly what I saw. I know that this is very long and I thought about chopping it up but then you couldn't see what this is all about. So I decided to play this in its entirety because it's important to see how people can have a peaceful assembly in America's Playground and exercise our Constitutional rights all while being able to drink a beer while protesting and marching.

Ironically, the song "Gold Digger" by Kanye West was used to TRY to drown out the sound of the protesters getting louder and I found that hilarious!

What's important to understand is that in this situation, names are not important. The reason why protesters are occupying is as varied as the people attending, however, it does not change the fact that regardless of your name, achievements or credentials we are just the 99% of the population who are cogs in the wheels.

For the record, I have nothing against people making themselves successful but make it an even playing field so we can take you head on. I will be glad to take that challenge and I'm not the only one.

Here's a shout out to those who allowed me to talk to them about why they where occupying, the guy from Wisconsin who taught me protesting can be done while drinking a beer, and the people who let me take pictures of them. So thank you!
