  • Peace.Love.Georgia

  • The brothers and Alan did a nice job with this one. I also like their version, but Alan resonates deep south and the song is perfect for him. i'm sure this song is special to Alan. Hey Alan, call me, maybe we can go fishing in the deep south someday!

  • Don't be mean, we are all Americans. There are great places in the South & I'm a Northerner & believe me great places up here. Trust me when my son fights for the freedom of the U.S. he isn't thinking N. or S. He as I appreciate it all. Military Mom in upstate N.Y. (NO NOT N.Y. City..very rural farm country)

  • @stsvrider Told you I liked the song. I just don't make a two minute dittie my life's philosophy. South's fine. From there myself, but there's lots of fine places -- and some of them didn't even rise up in rebellion against the rest of us. Get off the high horse and appreciate the entire Country that's your homeland. After all, you are an American aren't you?

  • Well, looks like you had to come back for one more listen...hmmm. What's wrong, can't find a yankee doodle happy song out there anywhere? Don't believe I've ever heard one either. Keep on dreaming, yank. I believe deep down you wish you had some measure of Southern Pride. Else you wouldn't be liking songs like this so much. Myself, being from the heart of Carolina, I'm like the old saying goes, "Born an American, Southern by The Grace of God." BTW, that truly was too easy. No apology given.
