Great White attacks boat

We counted at least a dozen white pointer sharks ranging between 3 and 4.5 metres long just out from the whale stranding.
We decided to launch our 5 metre boat to get underwater identification shots of them (we're compiling a database of distinctive features and have been doing so for 10 years)
Unbeknown to us, someone had attempted to catch one of these animals from their 5 metre boat just before we went out. He was unsuccessful but the shark he hooked was still in the area and not at all happy to see us.
He circled our boat a couple of times and then slammed into it from below breaking two ribs in the boat and leaving teeth imbedded in the hull.
We estimated he moved us 25 metres in 3 seconds (while we were on anchor!)
The shark is about 16 feet long and 1000 kilograms in weight.
He hit us 3 times before we could retreat back to shore, if you look closely, you can see his nose appear on the side of the boat just before the camera hits the deck.

This shows why it is a good idea not to upset them.
