Namaste. Jesus said "the kingdom of God is within you'" (Luke 17: 21),

also " when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light". (Luke 11:34).

Modern Christians would do well to add meditation to their spiritual discipline,

thereby understanding these sayings, as well as many other Biblical references

to higher states of consciousness.

For example, "Be still and know that I am God" (Ps. 46:10), and the story of

Elijah's translation being witnessed by Elisha.

I used to visit Russian Orthodox church vigils just because of their exellent chorus and music, Master Mokurai chants alone and the effect is the same or more.

@jitenderjims Really? Do you think almighty created religion? All religions were created by human; thats what i believe. And every person has their own religion but it will be limited to their ability to comprehend as you said. God does not need man to worship him. Those who say that dont know what god is. They think of God as a personality. Also religons can be understood but you cannot understand God. If God is the destination your life is the path and religion is just a pointer to direct.

@5389mm Bro it doesn't matter which religion came first. As all the religions have been created by the all mighty. When we compare religions, we try to reflect as one superior than the other one. Religions are so great that we humans can never comprehend them for comparisons. One who can, no longer remain ordinary humans and for them comparison is useless. I am a Sikh (an extension of Hindu religion).

@mstrmndindia i don't know about what you are asking, but regarding to "hare krishna hare rama" written on the design of the cloth i have to say that the man clearly chants "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" which is a Krishna chant as far as I know.

@5389mm As was Buddhism. I believe Jesus traveled to India/Tibet/Nepal and learned from great gurus of both paths, during the lost recorded period of his life.
