I don't know about Al Gore, but I personally read a few of these emails posted in the internet. The phrases are really out of context. For example "the trick" that hides "the decline" actually refers to the fact, that since 1981 the tree ring data doesn't correspond well with the actual temperature, measured by thermometers (which was rising). Why don't you go and see the actual hacked emails?

Its nothing new to know that the environment is constantly changing. al gore and his kind only want to sell permits to pollute, not stop it. And what gets made illegal al gores company's step in and make him a billionaire. If al gore really believed the ocean was going to rise 20' he wouldn't have bought a multi million dollar house right on the SF bay. LOL i guess in his flat world the ocean only rises on one side of Amerika(<on purpose)
