Description: Bel Air High School is a High School in the Ysleta Independent School District. It opened in 1957. Elevators and the 2 new Buildings were put in in the 1990s. The Health Professional Building is the Magnet School (not shown). Also, more classrooms that is the 4 story building was added in the 1990s. Other than that, this school is very original. Notice, there are no elevators in the main building. U have to cross the little bridge to the new building to use the elevator, then walk back to the main building. This school is not ADA compliant at all. Only the Health Professional Building and the new building are. The rest are not. They need to put in an elevator in the main building, so that students will not be late for class everyday because they had to walk 5 mins to the elevator, then use it, then go to lockers, then walk back. Also, the 800-900 Hall building is not ADA at all. People in a wheelchair have to have their friends help them use the stairs. I mean one of these days, the school will get a citation about not being ADA and they will be forced to add more elevators. But to tell u, this is a great school if u want to become a doctor. U can apply for the magnet school, which none of your classes are in the old building. They r all in the Magnet building. This is a great school and probably one of the toughest in El Paso. Only thing that is a downside is that there is no elevator in one of the buildings, and the fact that u have to walk all the way to use the elevator in the main. Other than that, this is a great school. They have the 4 beep tone bells.

  • chapin tour plz??

  • @Twil890 Its on my channel.

  • Andrew's sending me 4 Impulse keys, so if I come up there this summer I could possibly get you on this elevator

  • @gluse Ummmm this elevator does not take Dover impule keys. It takes custom made medeco keys. If u look at the lock, it is not a Dover impulse 1848 lock. It is a custom made medeco lock. If u want to see how a Dover lock looks, watch the elevator at Burges High School. We can not get on this elevator, or the elevator at Franklin either.

  • Well my high school that I'm going to Waukesha West has two Dover impulses that I've not filmed. They both don't need keys. I do have a GAL 1601 key. I don't know if it'll work on restricted elevators like at Jefferson High School

  • @FGelevators No, for GAL lockouts, u need a GAL 1613 key. That one unlocked the elevators at Jefferson.

  • This is not the whole school you totally missed the stadium, the Fine Arts building, The Big Gym, The HP (Health Professions) Building, the library and the theatre and the 1100 hallway.

  • THAT ISNT THE BELA AIRE HIGH DOWN HERE MANE

  • that school is huge! i went there during all-region band auditions

  • @FGelevators So u have a video of those bells? That is good, u should upload it. Also, i am going to tell u, most public high schools require a key to use the elevator. If u collect elevator keys, u might have a chance on riding them. But it all depends where u go.
