  • Cute

  • I love the half show

  • Great vid - and some great stepping talent! Flag rugby is an easy way to teach kids new to the game...saves against wasting time on any arguments etc.

  • Oh I know its here....why?...I have no idea. Its not like we have a problem teaching the kids here how to play. Its a silly idea that is taking a step backwards not forwards. A Free pass??? Its the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Rugby is about not getting tackled. Its about getting the ball to the other end. Touch is about dodging the opponent quickly. This stupid pull a flag and wave it around is out of sync with the essence of rugby. Teach them to play Touch!!.Or is that too "PC' for americans

  • @petnzme01 I guess you're not a fan of NZRU's Rippa Rugby program, which is played... exactly as you see here? Free pass when flag is pulled instead of play-the-ball. Flag rugby is also pretty widely played by primary students in England. The IRB has a law book for flag rugby & everything.

It's not just us crazy Yanks.

That being said, I prefer touch rugby to flag rugby.
