I can never watch a WC Fields film without being left with an urge to binge.
But then, if you watch one of his early films and then one of his late films you can see how badly it ripped up his health and may be reluctant to touch another drop.

Drunks aren't actually funny in real life. They are generally terribly sad people. While not really agreeing with it I can imagine why prohibition got started.
