This was when WNEV dropped the "New England News" title in the fall of '88 and called itself "News 7 New England," the 1989 music didn't come until may, right?

Another YouTube user has the Newhart, Coming of Age, and CBS this morning sequence. But their station showed the CBS Sportsbreak while WNEV dropped it in favor of a local update here. That's most likely why you hear Chris Clausen saying "This is CBS."
