Theres a slight difference that Roleta has. At first he has his legs extended, you know, pushing him away (while dude is in the guard). When he postures, you already have control of the arms, but one of dudes hands is trying to control your hips, while the other is positioning to stand up/pass. At that time, you position your hands and legs. The timing is right, but Roleta also scoots his ass under him for more momentum. I tried it the way you teach it, hard to do vs good dudes.
@SlightlyDazed7 I know who Gustav is, lucky you!!! If I have maybe one atribute for BJJ is move my longlegs with flexibility so I will start to drill tish sweep. I haven't seen many videos of it though.
@Dudongo86 Yea, my instructor, Gustavo Dantas, KO'd a guy when doing this. Gustavo is not big either so this sweep isn't about strength, just leverage and timing.
Amazing!!! Thank you

this seems to be a variant of/ similar to the macarou sweep invented by 7th degree black belt marcio "macarrou' stambowsky. thanks for posting.

Ken,
I appreciate you breaking this one down. Thanks!

Cobrinha can also be found doing a similar sweep. He often uses his feet on the biceps, though, in more of a spider guard.
Thanks, great post
