Q:what happens if it rains,the concrete absorbs the water and then it freezes?

@Fastcarsupersports Pervious paving is designed with a thick reservoir below it to accept as much rain as can be expected in a region. I have not heard of any freezing problems as the water drains through and seeps into the ground before it has a chance to freeze. If it is freezing as soon as it hits the pavement, it won't get down into the pores. There may be some extremely cold climates where it is not advised, but people probably shouldn't be living there anyway, they use too much energy.

I do see potential in this! I have heard that this is ideal for storm water treatment and management. However, is it good for structural uses? If not, this cannot be used in urban environments, which uses concrete mainly for heavy-duty structures.

Regardless, I see alot of uses for this for parks and recreation, filtration, and other modes for water use.
