  • Coming along for sure. Are these the seeds you had in packets? Good to see a young fellow out gardening! Remember Corn & squashes love nirogen. Squashes love compost.

  • yes...they are all from seed..except 1 jalapenio & like 7 tomato plats.

check back later...i'd planned on making a video today. thanks for the tip..we've had alot of rain..so alot has been washed away..i've been using some high nitrogen water soluble fertilzer

  • Looks good. How often you watering those bushes?

  • i haven't had to for like 4 weeks..i don't really have to at all, but i do anyway whenever i'm out watering the garden

  • cool...i might think about doin that. right now i have almost 20 tomatoe plants...beefsteak,roma,cherry & another type

i have about 9 jalepenio plants 1 bananna pepper

& a whole slew of other stuff & i'm canning or freezing most of it

  • I have 2 tomato plants. each in 5 gallon buckets one cherry tomato and one beef stake. The beef stake isn't doing good but the cherry tomato is doing great. I got about 40 tomatoes on it right now. so as far as planting in buckets I say its a hit for any of the smaller tomatoes. but yes for full sized its defiantly not the best thing. however I think with proper care and such it could work out. Oh and its good for bringing in the house during winter so you have cherry tomatoes year round. :D

  • Good looking garden man. I planted some tomatoes in buckets then went on vacation, now they are dead. I will plant a real garden next year.

  • nope..i don't really have chipmunks/squirrels. atleast i haven't seen any in my hood for a long time. i don't have many walnut or acorn trees in my hood

  • i did that with the ones that i didn't transplant before transplanted the other ones.

    thanks for the tip

  • Instead of transplanting your tomato plant just clip the weaker of the 2 plants so you don't disturb the root system.
