Creo que la respuesta a lo que dice SALSEROCABRON es la siguiente; ciertamente los dos ritmos se asemejan en sonido LA COLUMBIA y LA RUMBA ABIERTA, pero con la gran diferencia de que la COLUMBIA se toca en 6x8 y la RUMBA ABIERTA que CONGA800 esta ejecutando esta en un tiempo cuaternario 4x4 o 2x2... es importante acentuar estos tiempos para definir. jeje

si, pues casi se escucha igual que la columbia..
pero..en el contexto de Tito Puente..que es como
una descarga/rhumba bien rapida, pues el y otros lo llaman Rumba Abierta..una columbia no se toca asi de rapido...what is really trying to be done here is play the tumbao really fast..with some bass tones..
but your right it has the same melody..as the Columbia....Hasta luego Cabron.hehe..Paz y bendicion..
