ThunderJet is much nicer than CustomWeld in overall production, I used to work at CW and I know there is a fair amount of "stoner magic" that goes into their boats, though their alaskan bulkhead model is way better than thunderjets bulkhead model. I have been air born in a CW Viper, good time.

no, ThunderJet is a completely different manufacturer than CustomWeld. there's slight differences in the design, but yea, they're essentially about the same.
