Thanks for posting this. Got this seat a few weeks ago and couldnt for the life of me find a place to latch the back of the seat. I never woulda thought of that.
you are NOT NOT NOT supposed to pull the tether strap tight when rear facing. you don't even 100% need it but if you are using it, make sure it is NOT tight, not loose, but just gently done up. contact britax if you're unsure b/c i got this information direct from them!!!
That are under the cover? No, they are part of the seat and have no reason to be removed that I know of in order to install the seat. But remember to consult your manual for details on how to install you seat.
Yes, it does go to 33lbs RF though. I have a Roundabout too and got confused as THAT only is 30lbs RF, which is the main seat my 2nd son was sitting in at that time (this video was done in the Summer of 2008). My oldest son at 5 years was using this seat at the time.

Did you remove the stirafoam pieces that are included?
