Gene has been doing that stunt of flying up into the light rig since the 70's.I was at a KISS concert back in the 70's in the front row center,and that tour,Dynasty,was the first tour that he started doing that flying stunt.it's pretty cool,but it's kinda out-lived it impact in the show.But I guess it's still pretty awesome for KiSS concert first timers.Gene's bass solos were a lot better back in the 70's and 80's too.For whatever reason,he seems to be focusing more on theatrics than talent.

Is it me, or does the timing fluctuate all throughout the song? It speeds up and slows down, and then gets slower. Either they don't play with a click, or they couldn't hear it.

@Benno828282 Gene's bass solo is meant to showcase the blood spitting routine. No more, no less. Gauging Gene's aptitude for the bass based upon his "solo" is rather simplistic. Listen to the songs and you'll find melodic, well-crafted basslines in all of KISS' music.
