I saw it at the time and thought she should have won it. A group called the Jodells did and we never heard them again. This girl's very attractive.

I chanced to catch this performance on TV all those years ago. It was yet another talent show (the last one I ever bothered watching) - and she had it! I remember sitting transfixed by this gorgeous redhead, and 30 years on she still sounds pure gold. How good to hear to someone with a trained voice doing justice to a lovely English melody. I, too, could listen to this for 100 years; rock on, Louise!
