@kingnahum17 Even if we had that many survivors and had them attack at once, it would still take a while. They've got a lot of ground to cover and that may take a while with a few of them dying due to the sheer chaos
Besides, I meant that as a joke, I know that before the fall of reach only about 36 or so Spartan II's even survived the surgery and training and Spartan II teams still deployed in squads of about 3 or 4. But hey it'd be pretty funny and helpful on Legendary don't you think?

No, not really. If there were 50 Spartan IIs at once, the game would only be 10 minutes long. It would mostly be composed of a few sniper shots and a bunch of hand grenade throwing. It is epic as it is =P
