Torchlight 2 Beta - First Impressions & Early Questing (Gameplay)

Diablo 3 has colors omg boycott, HURRRR.

Torchlight is the true D2 DEEEEEEERP.

Avoid the trolls and enjoy both games, most of the people that are mad at new games are sad people that don't realize it's not gonna be as fun as it was when they were 15 years old.

Playing diablo 3 and gonna play torchlight when it comes out, because i love the genre and we need more good games on it.

This is like seeing LoL vs DotA. Ofc TL2 beeing LoL and D3 beeing DotA. Played both of them and I like D3 more, but ofc that depends on the one who's playing.

You can play through all difficulties Diablo-Style in Torchlight 2 if you want. This way you'll start the next difficulty with the same character and items and skills from the previous difficulty.

Diablo III has amazing scenery and graphics. The only TWO things that attracts me to the game. TL2 has so much more customization, making a player feel different and unique from others. In Diablo III with others I just feel like a clone, an exact copy. Giving players to choose what they want, single player, skill choices, etc, are crucial elements to a game's sucess. Diablo III is beautiful but painfully boring and gear required to progress to higher acts of inferno. Torchlight 2 > Diablo 3.

Again, most people. Games used to be more about having fun then making money. I've made about $250 on the rmah and that's great. However making money on diablo isn't exactly "fun".I absolutely agree with you that torchlight will not be on the same level as diablo is, in terms of fun it will be on a much higher level. I've leveld 4 characters to 60 and beaten inferno on 3, perhaps of exausted the game. In terms of living up to expectations Diablo 3 was not a successful game at all.

feel great about diablo 3 , can't wait to level up the other 4 classes, but i'm too busy earning money just playing my dh , 400 euro so far, and having a blast.

I don't think torchlight will be in the same level as diablo 3 , but it doesn't have to, it's not even a 60€ game, it's a fraction of that.

Anyway, if it's fun , it's a sucessful game, and i think that torchlight 2 has a lot of space in the genre between all the shitty diablo clones.

I wonder how you feel about diablo 3 a month later. I think it's pretty clear that for most people Torchlight 2 is going to be a better game.
