Nobody had to convince me to become an atheist. I wasn't recruited by other atheists seeking to enlarge their "membership". On the contrary, my family tried very hard to convince me that there is a god, and that their church had the only true and correct interpretation. Religion is about being brainwashed from childhood to a point where people can rationalize and doublethink all the contradictions and ludicrous claims the bible makes. In my case, it didn't work. And it frees me.

@bigtitsmgee1 Please tell me you're not that dumb..... If no one ever told you about a God or religion, you would have no idea about it, the thought of an omnipotent deity would never cross your mind. That's not a question of belief, that's common sense.

Religion- a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith I believe that there is no god and i believe this based on faith there is no factual proof for my belief so it is faith and it is a system of beliefs i own so yes it is a religion not every religion believes in GOD Buddhism for example does not believe in god and it is a religion get your facts straight before you spew nonsense out of that annoying mouth of yours
