JOLIET,IL-FULLY INVOLVED HOUSE FIRE/COLLAPSED HOME

House Fire Well Involved:Due to the risk of collapse,firefighters had to do a defensive attack on this fire & could not go inside the building because it was unstable.5 minutes after I left this incident to go to another Fire in New Lenox,The House Did Collapse.
Thankfully,no fire fighters were injured
In the Collapse.
This Home was only 2 years old

The cause of the fire is under investigation..the lexus inside the Garage may of been the cause

This is another example how modern light weight construction can be a challenge to saving a house. I am sure this department got there quickly, but you can tell by the framing that this place was going to burn quickly. If you don't stop these in under 5 minutes, it is hard to save anything substantial. Good work.
