I completely understand why Yentl and Avigdor didn't end up together, but I think they were so well suited to each other. They had such chemistry together, and I could really see them going the distance. Stupid Hadass!

The first time I heard this I thought the "why settle for just a piece of sky" note was the one everyone was talking about. I was like "wow that was impressive!" ...then came the real "papa watch me flyyyyyy" note and I was out of breath FOR her. Amazing!

This was one of my mom's favourite songs and she always said turn it up when my dad was playing it. Had this played at her funeral june 2010 and it still brings me to tears now when i listen to it.

i was actually an extra in this film and I was on the boat in this clip. It was a fantastic experience, I was 17 years old and on a ferry in the middle of the Irish Sea on the old Manxman ferry. My claim to fame is that a bit of my forehead is shown in one of the final clips. I love this song and it was fantastic to be a part of this film and to speak to the legend Barbra Streisand.
