Since Bionic Commando and Prince of Persia have been modernized, how about Flashback and Out of This World? And Guerrilla War. And The Guardian Legend. And Blaster Master. And Faxanadu. And they all need to have movies based on them to0. And Saturday morning carto0ns to0 also (well, Faxanadu was featured in an episode of 'Captain N and the N Team' but that doesn't count).

Because it screws with your perception of time and way of thinking about approaching the game in ways no other game has before. Some games have time-manipulation powers, none to my knowledge but Braid have made them permanently available.

Combine this with beautiful graphics and music and a simple but powerful story open to all kinds of interpretation, and you've got what most people consider a winner.

I love this game, but it is essentialy just a remake of the NES version with updated music, sound and graphics. Mega Man 9 is the return to the original, simple mega man games that everyone knows and loves, taking out all the special added on moves that were tacked on hoping to revamp the series. And yeah, I grew up with this stuff and now people think this is shit just because of the dated graphics. But this was the shit back in the day lol

Mega Man 9 is essentially an update of an old game, too. That said, how old the game is not an indication of how bad it is.

Besides, many people haven't played the Mega Man series and a lot more haven't even heard of Bionic Commando, so it's all "new" to them.
