I see more and more GREAT sitarist breaking tradition and using their third finger in their playing.All the book s I am learning say it's a no no. Listening to this great player they should think again.

I recorded Kushal Das in concert (in Canada) a few weeks ago and he was simply amazing. I hope to see him play again in Kolkata.

Kushal Das knows what he is doing. It is inspirational to see peeps on the ICM scene represent raga correctly. It is a dying art with so many tootie frutie players.

No. I personally love to listen Sitar, but do not practise myslef. The video has been posted on behalf of the artist. He is offering Live sitar classes using our website from his home at Calcutta
