Harsh! .....she was corrupt and went to a self-exile but she didn't deserve that. I am not on her side but it is harsh and being disrespectful for the dead.

In Pakistan whether its a political war between the political parties, politicians or destruction of national property or wealth, its eventually a common/poor man who is forced to bear all the dogmatism. Whether Horse Trading to strengthen the rule, hypocrisy or violating the law its eventually the poor who are forced to bear all the dogmatism by the govt & the govt departments. Now the time has come when eventually the educated class is waking up and we must expect a brighter tomorrow.

And whose occupation made the followers of this religion take the militant route?
Its a fact that there'd have been no terrorism as it is in its current form if the west had respected others as equals, and not meddled in their internal affairs, political, religious, cultural, so as to force the citizens to think they're under siege by the west with the help of their own rulers and ultimately force them to use force, right or wrong, to achieve their ends.

May allah bless her soul.

one less corrupt politician to deal with, good riddance

No it doesn't. I can't explain in 10 words, but take it that those hashish people did not associate their actions with religion.

This is part of the darkness from the East that will consume the world. the idea of no rights without responsibility, no freedom without discipline has been tossed aside for a superstitious rabble with nukes.

Does not the word "Assassin" derive from an Islamic sect? They were said to consume hashish to get visions of paradise and the 72 virgins before going off on a suicide mission.

So she was corrupt, but does it lessen her as a leader? No. And besides the corruption that Bhutto was charged with pales in comparsion with that of the Army.
