Love these and want to share them as the DVD release omits some of the original music.

Yes, this is exactly why. The producers worked hard and many record companies gave permissions but there must have been some holdouts. I tried to watch the DVDs but the substitutions took too much away for me.

One of the most splendid, perfect endings of a television show ever.  Does anyone know what song is running under Chris' voice as he reads the poem?

It's another Swartz original, I believe. It has that characteristic warmth.

I cannot believe how wonderfully good this show was. i mean, it had everything. This ending is so. . . . Shakespearean, so profound and poignant. I miss this show and its cast.

I loved John Corbett on this show reading his poetry over the radio and of course Rob Morrow too who made the show great. This was an excellent, memorable show. I have some seasons on DVD now. Thank you for posting.

I will gladly pay an extra 5 bucks for the un-edited original score show, but I wont buy the dvds without original music. The musical score is just as important in telling the story and setting mood as is the dialog. Does anybody know if DVDs without substitute music is available? P.s. One of the best T.V. shows ever made.

@ameroux Check out the word Legion as in the "mysterious, magical" Legionnaire's Disease that killed a bunch of people in days of yore. I told you that Washington politicians have the mad cow disease.
