@mahidoodi It's a spin-off game, do your homework. How is he "shitting" with it? He said from the very beginning (2 years ago) that he wanted to do something completely different, so this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I'm sure you're probably only 13 years old and wouldn't know, but when Metal Gear Solid was coming out everyone said that the series going 3D was the biggest mistake ever and marked the end of Kojima. And in case you haven't noticed: It didn't.

@gergenfonchen Kojima confirmed that there will be a true stealth Metal Gear Solid again in the future. This is a pure spin-off, that's why it's called Metal Gear Rising and not Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

What appeal the original version of this game held:

Patching the holes in the Metal Gear canon by charting Raiden's evolution between MGS' 2 and 4. The austere aesthetic and warped believability that is Kojima Productions' signature.

What appeal it now holds:

Very little. Setting the story after MGS4 removes any chance of delivering on the mystique of Raiden's tranformation. Austerity? No. Just cock-rock and flashy God-Of-War finishers that make the absurd Gecko fight in MGS 4 look like ballet.

the saga died with this, it shouldn't be called Metal Gear, just Rising: Revengeance. The changes due to the new developer are just too many. This just another action game where you just press the square button all the time
