Unfortunately, this is probably one of the worst examples of Multi-Touch under OS X. All pinching/expanding does in Safari is make the text bigger. But you can use to fingers to scroll up and down. Multi-touch is most useful for navigation in many apps and picture manipulation. It belongs on the trackpad when a mouse and keyboard are present, not the screen. You really think you can hold your arm up that long? Try it sometime. Now google "Gorilla arm"...

I'd prefer the ability to touch the screen. I'm surprised Apple hasn't made it available past the iphone.

Apple didn't invent multi-touch, its been around for a long time. They were just the first company to release it to consumers, which is a great thing.
