@sergentDylan Brian Hoyer has more experience, and every time he got to snap for the Patriots he did very well. Thing is since Mallett and Hoyer both have so much talent, Hoyer being older could be traded to a team that needs a QB while Mallett could very well be Brady's replacement in the coming years since he is younger.

@sergentDylan same reason bledsoe was starter and brady a back up. bellichick said it himself that the only thing keeping him away from making him the starter was experience.

I liked this guy in college, first round talent shame he slipped to the third because as they said "hes a statue" and everyone today needs those fast QBs...just disregard the two pure pocket passers that'll be in the SB! LOL Was hoping the Dolphins would take him, now he's a backup on the Pats for the next 3 years
