@martindogo Tu si que estas sordo, mondongo

Me recuerda una entrevista en la que contaba que sus primeros maestros pensaban que su voz era adecuada para papeles dramáticos.

It is heavy rep for him (especially at such a young age... even a lot of heavier voices don't sing that yet at 27)... but it's quite surprising how he still makes it sound ridiculously easy, as usual. A truly great singer.

it IS a very young Kraus, way before his debut and even before he studied with Llopart.

THE BEST EVER! ALFREDO KRAUS!!!

Amazing! I would have never imagined he could sing this! He does the job VERY well. Certainly better than Del Monaco singing Werther or Pearl Fishers, hehe.

Sencillamente inmejorable....

WOW! NEVER HEARD THIS!! INCREDIBLE
He did not have a choice, his debut was in El Cairo with Rigoletto under the terms of singing also Tosca, It was a one off perfomance as far as I am concerned and he once said that he had to sing a few roles at the very first of his career due to be not in the right category level yet to choice what he wanted to sing and further in his very well driven operatic life. He was out of this world to me and also the best in his repertory. Its only my opinion of course.
