@thousandumbrellas thank you.

Yeah I just spammed the hell out of this by copying and pasting the same comment to people who were talking about the "Christian" aspect of Andy.
That interview was just too damn good to hide. hahah.

This is for this guy and everyone else who has thought about the whole Andy Hull/Christianity thing. His dad and grandpa were both ministers and "Like a Virgin" was all about his insecurities about it all. As far as the rest of his albums, he says he is influenced by are "life, death, God, the devil, my family, my friends, woody allen, the gospels, and various others."
Google "andy hull absolute punk interview" and click the first one. Best interview i've seen of him.

@thereisnolight19 I think Andy believes in Christ, but is still pretty skeptical of the idea of Him existing. So I don't think Andy is spiritual or religious at all, but I think he still has the thought that Jesus is real. Does that make any sense? I know your comment was 11 months ago, but I wanted to put my thought into it.

@thebobVic If you believe that then man is an animal

@dahairboyz no he would probally laugh
It depends on what you consider to be Christian. Yes, they have elements of Christian discussion. But I wouldn't overtly call them a Christian band. Instead, they fuse the spiritual with the secular and define a sound that questions God, finds ways of representing him that wouldn't make sense any other way. It's truly inventive. Much better than being a Christian band.
