Village Schools International-Shamba Darasa

When I volunteered to teach in Africa I was able to build relationships with the local villagers. They honored me with an invitation to sing with them for Shamba Darasa-a time where they could celebrate their harvest for the season and be recognized for their efforts. We performed in front of the village leader and the elders too. Lugoda Lutalli Village in Mufindi District-on the way towards Sadan, Igoma, and Madibira will be etched in memory for a very long time. Thank you Village Schools Tanzania for this wonderful opportunity to live and learn with the people.
